The new Intenza A rods leverage Shimano’s DIAFLASH technology a process that lays opposing wraps of carbon tape diagonally on the outermost layer of the lower blank forming a visual x-shaped array to reinforce the butt section and resist twisting, flexing and energy loss.
The benefit: enhanced casting performance and added pulling power. Cork grips now highlight Intenza’s cosmetic overhaul and accompany the custom Shimano reel seat, while light Titanium Oxide guides accentuate the rod and provide enhanced rod balance for improved casting performance. The fully-redesigned Intenza A lineup offers a full quiver of actions to amplify performance to target the next trophy catch.
