The newest of the Shallow Raider series lures. Produces same great action as the smaller models in a larger size. Straight retrieve or troll and can also be used in a jerkbait style. This lure can be used all season long with great results.
Casting: The maximum running depth of the Shallow Raider varies depending upon the diameter of the line you use and the length of your cast or troll. Heavyweight lines and short casts will make the lure run very shallow. Thinner gauge lines and longer casts, will make the Shallow Raider run much deeper.
Trolling: Shallow Raiders perform best at trolling speeds of 1 to 3 mph. The length of line from rod tip to lure determines how deep it will run. Also, run a thicker gauge line if you want the lure to run ultra shallow, but a thin diameter line for more running depth.
