Aptly-named, “Zakana” is derived from a Japanese slang term for small baitfish and this lure does an excellent job of mimicking one. While the Zakana may have a body shape similar to other saltwater casting jigs on the market, the Zakana is the first to have a horizontal line tie (as opposed to vertical), which makes its swimming action different from other jigs you have with this profile.
