These are deadly!!! RJ Boyle made a living catching various species of meat fish on these mylar witches while he was a mate full time. He would fish them either plain with a bonito strip, or underneath a sea witch to give it some flash. Some SKA guys also use these on live baits and eel rigs to give the bait some flash.
For the northeast, these flashy skirts work incredibly well tucked into spreader bar stingers, or tucked behind small single trolling lures to add some flash.
