Mid-strolling is a technique that has recently been gaining attention with the introduction of FFS (Forward Facing Sonar). With the Virola 4″ and Virola 5″ producing overwhelming results, a larger version has been released in response to many requests.
It now has a longer casting distance, which increases the casting distance from the shore as well as from a boat. The larger size gives it a more noticeable presence, making it more appealing to bass over a wider range. You can also now target bass at depths that were previously unattainable.
The V-tail wobbles slightly, stimulating the bass’ instincts. The body balance creates a realistic roll that entices the bass to bite, and the way it rolls as it falls is just like a baitfish.
